Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Trek Ascent's website and services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
§ 02
Nature of Service
Trek Ascent provides trekking guidance, itinerary planning, logistical support and advisory services. Information published on this site is based on firsthand experience but conditions in the mountains can change rapidly without notice.
§ 03
Trekker Responsibility
Trekking at altitude carries inherent risks including but not limited to altitude sickness, weather exposure, falls and remote-area medical emergencies. Participants accept these risks and are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit and adequately prepared.
§ 04
Insurance Requirement
Every trekker must hold valid international travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking up to 6,000 m and helicopter evacuation. Proof of cover must be supplied before departure.
§ 05
Bookings, Deposits & Cancellations
Bookings are confirmed on receipt of deposit. Cancellation terms, refund windows and buffer-day requirements are communicated in writing at the time of booking.
§ 06
Force Majeure
Trek Ascent is not liable for delays, cancellations or itinerary changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including weather, flight cancellations, natural disasters, political events or public-health restrictions.
§ 07
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trek Ascent's liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in question. Guidance published on this site is informational and does not replace professional medical, legal or financial advice.
